Farmer turns manure tank into a court, pickleball goes across the aisle, and chill out on your serve

Let’s dive in 👇

And now, the award for the Wildest Place to Put a Pickleball Court goes to… a manure tank.

Holy s#*t!!

Yup, a farmer in Pennsylvania transformed an unused manure tank into a pickleball court!

Don’t believe us? Take a look below ⬇️

And we all thought putting a pickleball court in our driveways was creative! 😂

As with anything, there are pros and cons with this court.

PROS:

  1. Circular wall prevents stray balls from rolling away.

  2. Acoustics are great for chatting with friends.

  3. Excellent job of reusing a discarded structure.

CONS:

  1. Realizing that the court used to be filled with 300K gallons of manure.

  2. Picturing yourself in there with the 300K gallons of manure.

  3. Having nightmares about drowning in the 300K gallons of manure.

All kidding aside, it looks like a pretty awesome pickleball court!

Congrats to Arlin Benner, the guy who came up with the idea to build it on his farm, (Yippee! Farms) in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania.

The Serve.

It’s the only shot in pickleball that you have 100% control over — so take advantage of it!

Most importantly, take your time…

  1. Take a moment to bounce the ball and look at your target.

  2. Relax your arms and body and serve only when YOU feel ready.

  3. Realize that you have a full 10 seconds to serve after calling the score.

You’re in control of your own destiny on the serve — take your time and maximize each opportunity!

Pickleball Goes Across the Aisle

The political parties in this country are very divided — if only there were something to bring politicians together.

Enter… pickleball?!!

Yes. There is a bipartisan U.S. Senate pickleball caucus, and they play on the top floor of the Dirksen Senate office building in Washington, D.C.

Steve Kuhn (retired hedge fund manager, serial pickleball entrepreneur, philanthropist, and co-founder of Major League Pickleball), recently stopped by to join the senators on their courts.

Kuhn was there to:

  • Lobby for federal money to help bring the sport into more urban areas.

  • Help make pickleball accessible to people of all ages.

  • Bring along some MLP players, including superstar Riley Newman.

“We're already a naturally competitive body here,” said Senator Thom Tillis. “But it'd be fun to have that competition in pickleball and not constantly the fight for an ideological end.”

Cheers to that! And cheers to pickleball!🥒

Remember when you could spin the ball out of your hand on serves?

This ace victim is trying to forget.

Don’t actually do this. (But we totally get that you want to.)
